The phrase "Partial ocean view" is used for real estate listings which not have direct ocean view, the beach can only be seen leaning out the window involving a certain amount of aerobics. This sort of advertising language is used to add value to a property and are the basis of this work, which consists of 28 black and white photographs taken of all streets of Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro. All photos are taken from the middle of the street, on the last block before the beach looking towards the ocean. In general, most photogrphs are similar, in the center the sky, a little sea and sand, on the sides, architectural details and trees. These details, even with parked cars, create a kind of "frame" for infinit of the sky in the middle, the escape line for beach freedom. These "frames" inform us about the characteristics of the streets that we pass in this walk trough Copacabana, for some locals each photo carries memories, for others they are landscapes with urban details of a neighborhood with the promise of the democratic beach in the end.
A frase “Vista lateral praia” é usada para anúncios imobiliários da quadra da praia que não tem vista direto para o mar, a praia só pode ser vista se inclinando para fora da janela, envolvendo uma certa aeróbica. Esse jogo de linguagem publicitaria é usada para valorizar um imóvel. Essas palavras são a base desse trabalho, que consiste de 28 fotos em preto e branco tiradas de todas as ruas de Copacabana, da Princesa Isabel até Francisco Otaviano. Todas as fotos são tiradas do meio das ruas, na ultima quadra antes da praia olhando para o mar. Em geral, todas as fotos são similares. No centro um céu, um pouco de mar e areia, nas laterais detalhes arquitetônicos e árvores. Esses detalhes, inclusive com carros estacionados, criam um tipo de “moldura” para o infinito, a linha de fuga para a libertade da praia. Essas “molduras” informam sobre as caracteristicas das ruas que passamos nessa passagem sobre Copacabana, cada foto carrega memórias para alguns cariocas, pra outros são paisagens com detalhes urbanos de um bairro com a promessa da praia democratica no fim.
