Dias da Vida
The two nearly identical images of the photo installation Dias da Vida (Days of our Lives) by Martin Ogolter takes us to another dimension, not the two dimensionality of photography but neither the three dimensional. We go beyond.
It makes us think about specific moments, two instants, two views, pearls in movement, poetry on a blue background. As the photographs are printed on fabric, which is subtly agitated by fans, we are forced to stop seeing the pictures as static images but more like some kind of three dimensional cinema or sculpture in slight motion. Light as a perfect beach day… in Ipanema.
